Farm Development

Long term, turnkey farm management is the cornerstone of our business. Consistent care for an orchard is critical to long term success. We have a number of orchards that we have managed for nearly thirty years. A very diverse group uses our services: from long time farm families where the farmer has passed on, small farm owners, people new to farm ownership, to trusts, governmental agencies, and investment groups. Management is the decision making part of caring for a farm: when and how much to water, w hen to prune, when, how much and what type of fertilizer to apply. What type of weed control to perform is important as well as arranging for harvest at optimum times. Once the decisions are made, our skilled and experienced crew goes to work in a smooth, efficient manner. We work with a variety of packers and shippers to ensure that the best Dossible return for the fruit is received.

Farming Services

We offer services such as land clearing, orchard grinding, land prep, ripping, disking, mowing, weed abatement, orchard layout, irrigation system installation, pruning, tree removal and brush chopping, even for experienced growers who may not have the staff or equipment to handle specialized jobs.

We work with certified irrigation engineers who can design irrigation systems from basic manual controls to computer driven, smartphone controlled systems which we then install.
Our crew is experienced enough to lay out new plantings to most efficiently use every foot of available land. Over the years we have successfully planted tens of thousands of trees and made positive impacts on the agricultural landscape in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. We are farmers first and operate each property and perform each job as if w e were doing it for ourselves.

Machinery

We own, operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment within our business. From shovels, weedeaters and chainsaws through farm tractors, ag crawlers, rippers, discs, mowers, choppers, forestry mulchers, bulldozers, excavators, horizontal greenwaste recyclers, we have the equipment in our fleet.

Land Management

While our emphasis is on orchards, we are equipped and able to help landowners with their land management needs. We are equipped to spray weeds, cut fire and fuel breaks, clear brush and renovate pastures. We also do land prep for vegetable and berry growers and groom arenas for horse facilities. We also have worked with the golf industry, recycling green waste and trees into useable mulch.
